Over the past couple of weeks, a lot of people have been asking me what has been going on with the Valkyries. Needless to say, A LOT.
Gir, Ashe and I have been a team for over a year and friends even longer. I consider from the bottom of my heart that these girls are my sisters. While we were a team we had zero arguments, fights, issues, drama. I cannot praise these girls enough.
With that all being said, the team has been making some changes, most importantly Gir and Ashe are retiring from competing. Gir was just promoted to a manager position at her job and is now working a lot more hours. She is an amazing person and I’m so glad that she got the position! Ashe is going to be focusing more on producing content for her Youtube channel as well as working on a new collaboration project with me.
Ok, that’s nice, but what about the brand, the name, the team?
Glad you asked. The Valkyries are rebranding.
In 2014, change is coming to the Valkyries. We’ll be focusing on producing content instead of competing, including (but not limited to): eSports, gaming trade shows, and all types of video games. The name Valkyries will also be changed, to better suit our future ideas and endeavors.
We have a lot of projects in the works, but you all will hear more on them in the new year. It’s the holidays, after all! As we spend it with our loved ones, we hope you do the same.
